Your firm has a monthly pool of credits that replenishes each billing period. ## How credits work * Each question you ask Copilot uses some credits * Simple questions (quick lookups) use fewer credits * Complex questions (multi-step research across your data) use more * Credits are pooled across your entire firm — all team members share the same pool ## Checking your balance Your remaining credits are visible in the Copilot interface. You'll see how many credits you've used this period and how many remain. ## What happens when credits run out If your firm uses all credits for the month: * Copilot will let you know the pool is exhausted * You'll need to wait until the next billing period for the pool to refill * No existing data is affected — you just can't ask new questions until credits reset ## Credit periods Credits reset monthly. The allowance for your firm was configured when your account was set up. If you find your team consistently running out of credits, speak to your administrator about adjusting the allocation.
