# General dashboard

> Your deadlines, active projects and the latest project updates at a glance.

The General dashboard is your daily overview. Open it from **Dashboards > General**.

Partners and Admins see the whole firm. Architects see the deadlines and updates for work assigned to them.

## What is on it

| Card                         | What it shows                                                   |
| ---------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Upcoming Deadlines**       | How many tasks are due in the next 30 days                      |
| **Active Projects**          | How many projects are in an active status                       |
| **Projects by Status**       | Active projects by status, with a count and percentage for each |
| **Deadlines (next 30 days)** | The tasks behind the Upcoming Deadlines number, soonest first   |
| **Project Updates**          | A live feed of what has changed across your projects            |

## Projects by Status

Each bar is one status: **Ongoing**, **Waiting on Client**, **Waiting on PA** or **In Review**. Click a bar to list the projects behind it, then click one to open it. See [Project statuses](/projects/project-statuses).

## Deadlines

The list pages through every task due in the next 30 days. Click a task to open it.

## Project Updates

The feed shows who changed what and on which project: tasks, documents, billing, emails Arkata filed. It refreshes on its own while the page is open and highlights new entries as they arrive. Use the arrows to page back, and click an update to open its project.
