# Archiving Projects

Once a project is complete and you no longer need it in your active list, you can archive it.

## How to archive

1. Open the project detail page
2. Click the **Archive** option (usually in the project menu or settings)
3. Confirm the action

## What archiving does

* The project disappears from your active projects list
* All data is preserved — nothing is deleted
* Documents, tasks, billing history, and activity remain intact
* You can still find archived projects using search or filters

## Restoring an archived project

If you need to bring a project back to your active list, find it in your archived projects and restore it. All data comes back exactly as it was.

<Info>
  Archiving is purely organisational — it has no effect on billing, documents, or any other data.
