Arkata Copilot
Copilot is Arkata’s built-in AI assistant. It can answer questions about your firm’s data and about how to use Arkata — right from within the app.What Copilot can do
- Answer questions about your projects: “What’s the status of the Smith residence project?”
- Look up tasks: “What tasks are overdue this week?”
- Check client information: “How many active projects does Client X have?”
- Summarise billing: “What’s the total outstanding across all invoices?”
- Help you use Arkata: “How do I upload a new document version?”
What Copilot cannot do
Copilot is read-only. It can look at your data but cannot change anything:- ✗ Cannot create, update, or delete records
- ✗ Cannot access document files or email content
- ✗ Cannot see other tenants’ data
- ✗ Cannot access member personal contact details
How to use it
- Click the Copilot icon in the sidebar or navigate to the Copilot page
- Type your question in plain English
- Copilot responds with an answer based on your firm’s actual data
Privacy and security
- Copilot only sees data your firm has access to (same tenant boundaries as the rest of Arkata)
- It runs within the EU (eu-central-1) — your data doesn’t leave Europe
- Conversations are retained for a configurable period, then automatically purged
Tips for good results
- Be specific: “What tasks are assigned to me?” works better than “Tell me about tasks”
- Reference projects by name or reference number for precision
- Ask one question at a time for clearest answers
