Task Statuses & Workflow

Every task in Arkata has a status that reflects where it is in your workflow. There are 7 possible statuses.

Moving between statuses

Open the task and pick the new status from the dropdown. You can’t jump from any status to any other — Arkata only offers the moves that make sense from where the task is now. Typical flow:
You can also put tasks On Hold from most statuses, and move them back when the blocker is resolved. Tasks can be Cancelled from any status.

Notifications on status changes

When a task moves to In Review, the reviewer gets a notification in their inbox. When a task is assigned to someone, they also get notified. See Inbox Notifications for more on how notifications work.
