The project page

Open any project from the Projects list to see everything about it in one place.

The header

The top of the page shows the project name, the client, which you can click to open, and the project’s references. The status badge is clickable: pick a new status straight from it. Share copies the page’s link. Edit Project opens every field at once. The bin icon deletes the project, and is available to Partners and Admins only.

The tabs

What is on the General tab

Key figures. Three cards across the top: Property Value, Permit Expiry with how many years are left, and Open Tasks. Click the first two to set or change them. Site & Application. The applicant, locality and site address. Linked Records. Quick links to the project’s External Files, eApps and Maps pages. Click a link to open it, the copy icon to copy it, or Add to fill in one that is missing. Proposal Description and Notes. Click either box to type, then save. Recently Edited Files. The latest documents touched on the project. Assigned To. The project lead. Click to change it or set it to unassigned. The Collaborators panel sits below, see Collaborators on projects. Project Timeline. The project’s phases with ticks for what is done, see Project timeline. Arkata can also set the expiry date itself when a decision notice email arrives. See Supported email scenarios.

Edit a project

Click Edit Project to change any field. Three are worth knowing about:

• Client moves the project to a different client.
• Internal Reference asks you to confirm, because the old reference stops working.
• Project Type clears the timeline and the PA reference. See Project types.
